Tri-Otic Ointment (same as MalOtic Ointment) is used to treat acute and chronic otitis in dogs with this effective combination steroid, antibacterial, and antifungal ointment. Active ingredients are betamethasone valerate, gentamicin sulfate, and clotrimazole, which work together to combat painful infections of the ear. Antibiotic ear medications should be used only after a diagnosis of a bacterial infection is made by your veterinarian. The ear should always be clean and dry before applying ear medications.
